Table 9.2.2.1(a) 2” hanger every 15’ Table A.9.3.5.9 2” sch 40 5.13 lbs/ft 15’ x 5.13 = 76.95 lbs @ hanger 77 lbs x 5 = 385 lbs + 250 = 635 lbs The 300 lb or 400 lb rating on hanger spec sheets is Low Number and the Tested weight is divided by a safety factor.
