I have a project with 24" deep bar joist at 8' on center. Spanning the joist are 2x6 stringers at 24" on center. I was under the impression that something like this would limit us to 130 sq ft per sprinkler. The FPE that spec'd out the project has indicated 225 sq ft max in this area. What does everyone think?
