I am running some seismic calcs for a project in CA with the TolBrace software. The piping is 1" CPVC so my loads are very small. For Fastener to Structure, I notice a note stating that lag screws and power-driven fasteners are not allowed for attaching to the structure in CA. Can someone give some advice on what you might typically use in their place? Even better, if any of you are using or specifying Tolco, what do you use/specify? TolBrace only gives lag screw options for attaching all thread rod type bracing to the structure.
