The dielectric or something else is needed for dissimilar metals. If the 
galvanizing was an issue with black steel pipe, wouldn’t it be an issue with 
the pipe it was applied to?

As such, I do not see an issue.

Victaulic used to sell Dielectric spools we used to use to connect to copper. 
That used to be the cheapest way to convert. Might be something on Vic’s 
Mechanic side.
