Hi everyone
According to NFPA-14 if the building exceed 80,000ft2 i must add another stand pipe with 500gpm and in case of a third sytand pipe add another 250 (for unsprinklered buildings). Is this just for vertcial buildings to consider standpipes on each level? Or, if i have a 1 floor building but exceeding the 80,000ft2 i must have 2 stand pipes on the same floor considering the floor area is 150,000ft2? Thanks.
