I noticed that the 2022 edition of 13 finally includes a definition of drop which has been sorely missing. However, why isn't there a definition of return bend? The definition of branch lines includes four elements by which sprinklers may be indirectly attached to them: sprigs, drops, return bends, and arm-overs. As of 2022, the only element missing a definition is return bend. Has there ever been a discussion to add that definition? I'm surprised that drop finally got added, but return bend was missed.
On a similar note, why is arm-over the spelling used in the definitions of arm-over and branch lines, but literally every other reference spelled as armover?
