Fire Protection Specialists! I’m going to withdraw from the forum. I’ve been out of the business too long. I don’t have confidence any comments I would make would be current.
I initially signed up after retiring, as I thought a plan reviewer’s perspective might sometimes be helpful. Many current reviewers are restrained by their city’s open documents policies. (In WA State payments can be $50/document per day.) The drives city attorneys to be conservative about participation, even off the clock. Best to All! I do want to acknowledge the helpful assistance from many of you over the years. I especially call out mentourship from two FM FPE’s, the late Joe Hankins, who’s sprinkler test work, from the residential sprinklers to early ESFR, was monumental, and John King, who was much more local to me. John moved on to be a global expert in industrial disaster planning and turbine power protection, but kindly gave me considerable assistance over the years.
