Standard spray sprinkler option is always on the table. I thought the Globe Low Flow Attic Scheme (now Victaulic) had a listing for 3:12 as well.
The way I see the AP calc is all of the AP's up to 1,950 Sq. Ft. Couple points of caution: Be sure to check all the CPVC/Sprinkler listings for CPVC Dry systems in attics. Also note that the AP sprinkler requires a maximum water delivery time of 60 seconds when you use that sprinkler. If I follow the spacing guidelines from the other diagrams, how many heads would I calculate? I'm thinking (7) would be fine.
