At OSCON the perl guys were still excited about 6, rperl and cperl.  I
found it was easy to learn other languages after perl.  Since it had so
many ways to do it.  I still write lots of one liners, anything you might
do with sed or awk can be done with perl.  Maybe a revival is right around
the corner.
