Well, I have to do some tests because, when typing, for example,
"numpy.linspace(" in the editor, the object inspector is showing the
complete documentation, perfectly suited for the rich text mode.

I've made changes that would take too much time to separate from the
main branch. Furthermore, the behaviour I was describing in a previous
post is a bug which is now fixed by these changes, even if these
changes have introduced the behaviour that you mentioned.
In other words, I prefer fixing a bug and losing a feature than
keeping both. This was the symptom of the non-working "Object
inspector"/"Editor" link.

I'll take a look at the incomplete docstring issue and see if it can
be fixed for the next release.
In the meantime, v2.0.7 will have the development version behavior.
