Hey Everyone,
I have been trying to setup my new Mac running OS X 10.7.1 to use
Spyder. I loved using it on my old windows machine and would love to
continue to use it. I ran: sudo port install py27-spyder, which takes
forever and everything seemed to install just fine. I run into
problems when I actually start Spyder and in the Ipython window of the
GUI I see the following error:

File "/opt/local/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.7/
lib/python2.7/site-packages/spyderlib/widgets/externalshell/
startup.py", line 181, in <module>
import IPython.Shell
ImportError: No module named Shell
I am kind of at a loss here because I have no other python
installations outside of the one included with the OS. Since I used
macports, shouldn't this just work? or am I missing something?
