I'm sorry to hit you with this so soon after release of spyder-2.1.0beta2; but
I am trying to keep abreast of the new releases,
even betas. I have just installed it on my box, and on trying to run it from
the command line, 'spyder -v' I get the following
error.

My system is a 64-bit openSuSE 11.4, with python V2.7
