These commands are "natively" supported by Spyder's pure Python
interpreter : just precede them with a "%" (%pwd, etc.). Please type
"scientific" to get more help on those special commands, as suggested
when the interpreter starts.

Note that you may also use an IPython interpreter right inside Spyder.
