Spyder doesn't work with PySide 1.1.0. Please use PyQt instead. For that
you have run
$ python bootstrap.py --gui=pyqt
if you have both PySide and PyQt installed, or just remove PySide and
install PyQt to simply use
$ python bootstrap.py
