Just popping in to say that I'm having the exact same problem after upgrading to Mountain Lion. I've tried uninstalling all ports and macports itself, but the problem persists.
I've noticed that spyder still has my history in 'Recent Files', so maybe I wasn't doing a thorough job of cleaning things up. Could this problem be related to Xcode command line tools or macports?
