Hi,

This seems like an error in our side, I'll try to fix it for our next release, sorry for inconvenience.

Cheers,
Carlos

Hi,

I recently upgraded a lot of my python packages to newer versions (numpy 1.7.1, scipy 0.12.0, matplotlib 1.2.1, ipython 0.13.2, spyder 2.2.0, pyreadline 2.0). I'm running python 2.6.6 x86 on Windows 7 64 bit.

My issue is that when I ran the spyder after updating it worked OK except I could not open the preferences dialog. I tried resetting the window positions and it had no effect. I then thought I'd reset the configurations to defaults using the "--reset" command line argument. Now every time I try to run spyder I get the following error:

Has anyone come across this before or have I managed to get some dependancies mixed up? I installed the binary packages in every case and made sure they were all for Python 2.6 win32.

Thanks.
