I think this is not implemented. Please open an issue in our Issue
tracker so we don't forget to fix this.

binary characters (which didn't appear in Spyder 2.1.9, the one in the
ubuntu repos).
And is there any way, or are you working in any on generating the
.spyderproject files from... something?
