Windows, when I change it in the settings by picking say "emacs" the 
"apply" button doesn't become active even, just can't do anything, click OK 
and it stays exactly the same with white theme. Why bother having the menu 
options to change it if it doesn't respond? Haven't touched anything, just 
completely standard install of Spyder via the Anaconda Distribution.
