Hi,
According to the error message, you are missing pyparsing to run Spyder,
although it doesn't depend directly on it, so I really don't know the
source of the error. Please install it running this command
pip install pyparsing
on a cmd.exe, to see if that solves your problem. By the way, i think
you'll gave better luck by asking on the Python(x,y) mailing list.
Cheers,
Carlos

I downloaded Python (x,y) v. 2.7.5.1 with the intention of only using
the Spyder add-on but it won't open and a blac text box with code
flashes up very briefly that says 'Distribution not found' before
quickly closing again. This happens every time I try and open it. In
my Python (x,y) Home it says that I have Spyder v 2.2.4-8 installed so
why won't it open? Hope someone can help!
