Hi,
We don't have this functionality in our consoles. If you want to
activate it in *our* IPython consoles, please go to
Tools > Preferences > IPython Console > Display > Interface
and un-check the option
Use a completion widget

Thanks for Spyder, it is a great product!
Is it possible to modify the keyboard shortcut to select
a suggestion from the auto-complete matches in the console? I
specifically want TAB to cycle through the list of suggestions,
instead of selecting the highlighted item. IPythons Qt console is a
good example of the behaviour I want.
I use the console to move around in the file system quite a lot, and
after a while it becomes tiresome to go back and forth between the
arrow keys and the main keyboard.
