First a question: what's Citrix? (never heard of it).
Second: as far as I know we don't have any functionality to handle
keyboards, so I presume that's done by Qt and you'd be better be asking
in its forums about it.

Windows. It probably has to do with our use of sockets for
communication. You can deactivate them in
Spyder > Preferences > General > Use a single instance
and
Spyder > Preferences > Console > Introspection > Enable monitor
