Hi,

If you want to install Spyder instead of using it through |bootstrap.py|, you need to download beta3 from here

https://bitbucket.org/spyder-ide/spyderlib/downloads

unzip it, and then run inside its directory

    sudo python3 setup.py install

If you installed Spyder through the Software Center, please uninstall it before doing this.
