I have what seems like a normal working version of Spyder on Windows 7 x64, except that with the Object inspector, "Rich Text" greyed out (inactive). Only Plain Text is available, even though I have installed sphinx. I'd like to see the sphinx-formatted version of the documentation. Here is info of my install:
Spyder Version: 2.2.1 Python Version: 2.7.8 Qt Version: 4.8.6, PyQt4 (API v1) 4.10.4 on Windows Sphinx Version: 1.2.2 A 64-bit version of Python was installed from python.com and everything else, including Spyder and Qt and related dependencies were from http://www.lfd.uci.edu/~gohlke/pythonlibs/ Any ideas how I can figure out why "Rich Text" is inactive? Is there any log file or other info to help investigate this mystery?
