I have 8 GB RAM. I don't think memory poses any constraints. It is something weird in the implementation in the 2.3.2 version of SPyder that is causing it.
I hve tested this aspect on two separate machines: a) a desktop (Intel i5-2320 CPU # 3 GHz) and a laptop (Intel i3 CPU; 2.5 GHz). Both have 8 GB RAM space.
