I have 8 GB RAM.  I don't think memory poses any constraints.  It is 
something weird in the implementation in the 2.3.2 version of SPyder that 
is causing it.

I hve tested this aspect on two separate machines:  a) a desktop (Intel 
i5-2320 CPU # 3 GHz) and a laptop (Intel i3 CPU; 2.5 GHz). Both have 8 GB 
RAM space.
