Hello everyone

I want to wish a happy new year in advance to all the users, developers and
friends out there using, working and helping Spyder be a better tool for
scientific research and computing.

As some of you may be aware of, the new Spyder website is on the works and
we would like to share and know about your success stories (of... there
might be also failures) with using Spyder. The idea is to have
contributions from different sectors in science or programming that might
illustrate how in your specific case Spyder has made your life easier.

Couple of images, maybe share some code, maybe share some new module you
are developing, or maybe just complain on a feature you are missing and
have requested already :)

*"Easy way"*

Right now the "easiest" way to do this would be to make a pull request
against the Spyder website repository

*git clone https://github.com/spyder-ide/website.git*

Write a new markdown
<https://github.com/adam-p/markdown-here/wiki/Markdown-Cheatsheet> file
(yyyy-mm-dd-title-more-in-title.md) and put it inside the 'content/blog'
folder <https://github.com/spyder-ide/website/tree/master/content/blog>

*Other way *
If you do not (yet) feel comfortable using Github and Git then you can just
copy here your blog post (in markdown
<https://github.com/adam-p/markdown-here/wiki/Markdown-Cheatsheet> please
:) )

I personally (and the spyder development team) greatly appreciate any time
you are willing to invest into making spyder the number one development
environment :)

Kind regards,

Gonzalo
