I'm a new user, and it looks like the "cell" code chunk feature has been in since 2.2, about two years.
I just learned that MATLAB, as of 2015, has renamed their "cell" code chunk feature to "sections." The primary issue for MATLAB was the confusion between their datatype called "cell" and the editor feature called "cell." If your intent is to make it easy to transition from MATLAB to Spyder, please consider renaming the code chunk feature to "sections" as well. It's a more intuitive name, anyway, and it will keep Spyder an easy transition from MATLAB. Thank you for your consideration. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "spyder" group.
