I don't know what happens on Windows 10 to be honest. For some people
Spyder is working without problems and for others it only crashes :-s
If you're using Anaconda, we're in the process of updating the graphical
libraries from which Spyder depends on. That could fix the problem on
Win 10. Other than that, I don't know what to do about it, sorry.
