I've been having a lot of problems running Spyder 2.3.8 immediately after
installing Mayavi. The problem persists in Anaconda 2.4 and 2.4.1. I just
did a clean install of Anaconda and Spyder started normally. Immediately
after installing Mayavi Spyder refuses to launch. The error message is
shown below.
Any help appreciated as this has been driving me crazy.
