Hi,

Python 2.7 packages are already available in our Anaconda channel, but not for Windows 32 nor Linux 32 architectures. Sorry, those archs are not frequently used, so i decided not create packages for them.

Cheers,
Carlos

Hi, Carlos,

Actually, I am meeting the same thing and I am using Python 2.7. Could you also update that version, please? Thanks very much.

    Hi,

Sorry, I forgot to upload packages for Python 3.4. They are up now :-)

    Cheers,
    Carlos

May I ask where I could find the new version of Spyder 3.0
        after I run conda install -c spyder-ide spyder .

You need to open a terminal (cmd.exe on Windows) and run

            spyder

The problem I am having (which may not be the same as Carlos) is
that "conda install -c spyder-ide spyder" does not actually
    install Spyder 3.0:

    $ conda install -c spyder-ide spyder
    Fetching package metadata: ......
    Solving package specifications: ..........................
    # All requested packages already installed.
    # packages in environment at /home/amsta/jitse/scratch/anaconda3:
    #
    spyder 2.3.8 py34_0

    If I look at https://conda.anaconda.org/spyder-ide/linux-64/
    <https://conda.anaconda.org/spyder-ide/linux-64/> it appears that
spyder 3.0 needs Python 3.5, while I have Python version
3.4.3.final.0 (according to "conda info"). So, assuming this is
correct, the next question is: how to install Python 3.5? "conda
upgrade python" does not do this, and that's the limit of my
    conda knowledge.
