Hi *, I installed Python 2.7.13 on a Windows 7 Computer, then installed PyQt 4.11.4, then Microsoft C++-Compiler for Python 2.7 and finally Spyder 3.1.3. During installation everything went fine, no complaints after installing the C++-Compiler.
But when I want to start spyder in the scripts-directory, nothing happens, see attachment. No debug-information, nothing. Starting with spyder --show-console reveals the same, nothing. What can I do to put some light into this mystery? Which information can i provide that would be helpful to debug? Thank you in advance. Best regards Axel P.S.: Spyder is a great software.
