Hi, I've successfully downloaded and installed Spyder on Windows 7 Pro and all it's dependencies, but whenever I run it from the command line nothing happens.
More specifically, when I run it on the command line it returns to the command line prompt immediately as if nothing ever happened. There is no new window displayed or any error message, it just returns immediately. My python is installed in: C:\Python27\Scripts and the Spyder executable is: spyder.exe As part of the dependencies we chose to use PyQT4 as it was easier to install. We also installed the requested Microsoft VC++ for Python 2.7 package. I'm unable to install via Anaconda due to security restrictions placed on my PC.
