As it is "impossible to prove a negative" -- people who have a github repo they want to "import" (there's an overloaded search term!) to Spyder, may spend a large amount of time to discover that there is no support yet. What they'll find are lots of references to the github repository for the Spyder project itself -- queries about how one may "import" a python module from github -- etc.
It might be a good idea to have a page with a high search engine rank that tells them to stop wasting their time and just "import" (there's that overloaded term again) their source from a local directory that they have previously cloned from their github repo. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "spyder" group.
