Hi,
Some questions:
1. Are you sure you installed Anaconda and not Miniconda? I say it
because Spyder comes with Anaconda by default and not with Miniconda.
2. Did you add Anaconda to your PATH or not?
3. Did you install Spyder with your package manager? If so, please
remove it.
Cheers,
Carlos

hi,
I have installed Anaconda 5.1 for Linux Debian and Python 2.7. This
installation does not include Spyder, so after installing everything I
have tried installing spyder with
|conda install spyder|
However, to my surprise this installed the Python 3.6.
Now how I turn this to use with python 2.7?
Regards.
