You need to close the Help pane to fix that error. We don't know what
causes it, sorry.

One way to get to click the icons (New, Open, Run etc) is pressing F11
for a full screen mode. However 1) this prevents me from switching to
my other things on my PC and; 2) the menu bar (File, Edit, Search,
Source etc.) is no longer clickable on full screen mode.
Downgrading to previous Spyder versions didn't work. I don't know how
to downgrade to previous Anaconda Navigation version and not sure if
it will resolve issue since launching Spyder on its own still has issue.
Related Issue:
my mouse pointer seems to be a few inches too low. As you can see on
pictures attached, if i point my mouse a few pixel below the wheel
tool, then 'Options' is clickable. Same goes for all other items such
as Run icon (managed to find a "fix" by keeping path on top), and File
Explorer.

This is extremely frustrating especially so I'm hoping someone can
solve my issue. I was told from command line to run "spyder --reset"
but that didn't solve it either.
