Yes, it looks like a bug. Please open a bug in our issues tracker
https://github.com/spyder-ide/spyder/issues/
so we don't forget to address it in the future.

Ubuntu. I am trying to print my python source from the main Spyder
menu (File >> Print) but my network printer is not listed in the
"Name" drop-down. I can only print to a file. Other applications
(e.g.Firefox) do list the network printer. Is this a bug? Web search
