I sometimes experience slight performance issues when working in the script window. E.g. when I type something the characters appear with a slight delay, or when I mark something with the cursor, it takes a second or so.
I am not sure why this is, I feel like it hasn't always been like that. My project is medium sized (i.e. few hundred lines of code per module, 1 dozend modules), and I don't have all the modules open in tabs. I deactivated nearly all code introspection, and I tried running Python on different GPUs. Overall, the hardware I have should be more than enough for Spyder / Python to run swiftly (Lenovo T490 <https://www.lenovo.com/ch/en/laptops/thinkpad/t-series/T490/p/20N2CTO1WWDECH2> with 24 GB RAM).
