I hope this is the right place to post. I am a first time poster :-) I am testing the ease of use of the Spyder stand-alone installer for new users where I work.
It is all good, and I can see it installs a full version of Python in its own environment. However I do not see the pip installer anywhere. Is there an easy way from the Spyder interface to install packages? Or do I need to get and run "get-pip-py" I am running the latest Spyder 5.0.1 I remember something about opening a prompt or something from a dropdown within Spyder (that could have been a part of WinPython distribution though, if that makes a difference?)
