Spyder installed through Anaconda uses the Anaconda python distribution and therefore the Anaconda python environments in which packages are installed. Anaconda doesn't use the *pip* package manager.
Either use the *Anaconda Navigator *as explained in their docs <https://docs.anaconda.com/anaconda/navigator/tutorials/manage-packages/>.
