I installed v-5.0.1 in a virtual environment on my Windows 10
Laptop. All seemed to go well until I opened the app for the first
time. I was greeted with an error message that the installation
doesn't have the spyder-kernel module or the right version
(screenshot is attached.)
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Pip install spyder-kernels failed, as did a second installation
into a pristine directory.
Please advise.
