You can try to re-run "locales.pl" in the "<sql-ledger>/locale/de" directory,
the current German translation misses entries for SQL Ledger's new tax report
facilities. Re-running "locales.pl" should create empty "dummy entries" so
the corresponding strings will not be translated but the reports should work.
If you'd like to live on the edge and/or improve SQL Ledger I can send you my
updated German translation file which fixes these (and some other) problems /
mistranslations.
