If the payment conditions for a customer are the same each time, I could imagine creating two a payment conditions. "Will be deducted from your bankaccount" and "Request payment within X days". Then have payment conditions printed on sales orders and invoices. This would still not print customer bankdetails, but the customer knows his accountnumber so I think that is not a major problem? However, if the same customer one time pays himself and next time will be autodeducted from his bankaccount, this is not going to work. In that case the A/R portfolio will be a heck to handle one way or the other anyway.
BTW I allways try to look at workarounds or solutions that do not require programming or custom script files. That is mainly because I am not a programmer, and external guru's have a tendency to present unpleasant pricetags. If you are a programmer or have resources I suggest you look at the suggestions Steve Doerr made. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] On Behalf Of Stumbaum, Rainer Sent: vrijdag 5 juli 2002 14:36 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: [SL] Data upload customer/sales order Maybe I expressed myself wrongly. The goal is to tell the customer on the invoice-document if either -- he will have to transfer the amount from his bank account to the stated bank account or -- we will deduct the amount from his here stated bank account. So the note will depending on the customer either contain some text and our bank details or some text and his bank details. This works fine in the process: sales order is created within the customer, so the note is copied automatically from the customer to the sales order. From within the sales order the invoice is created, so the note blablabla. Problem now with the data take-on is now, how to create the sales order using the command line interface from within the customer and as well the already in reality existing invoices. Hope it got clear now...
