I am not sure if this is in the works of the official release. I am actually working on something that someone can patch against 1.8.4 -- it would be more like a recurring sales/purchase order. I too prefer to automate the stuff as much as I can :-) BTW: I must say, the 1.8.x is easier to program for than 1.6.x.
