Ok, I did as you said.  What happens now is that th quantities of that 
parts that make up the subassembly are taken from but the subassemblies 
show no quantities at all.  Ideally I would like to ad say 200 of the 
sub assembly first, then only add 14 of the main assembly.  When I do 
this what I think should happen is that the sub assembly stock is 
reduced by 14 and the parts that make up the sub assembly are reduced.  
Does this seem correct?
