This is my first mailing-list. Be gentle.
The list has been created to help small (micro) businesses to consult with each other about problems setting up and running small businesses supporting Linux. http://mail.computerdatasafe.com.au/mailman/listinfo/lssb We have around a dozen subscribers collected over two days; I figure around a hundred and it will be quite useful. There will inevitably be some overlap between the two lists. Feel free to join in, but do remember it's principally for businesses that don't have a lot of employees and so need to call on others for free support. For many years I was a member of the os2-isp list, a list for those foolhardy enough to run an ISP operation hosted on OS/2, and for those interested in the idea. It was a pretty friendly operation for the most-part; unfortunately if fell apart a little as it became increasingly apparent that OS/2 was becoming less suitable for the task whereas Linux was improving. I'd like this to be similarly friendly, with scope for discussion of a wide range of topics. Oh, _pullease_ remember to turn off HTML. Mailman doesn't have the means of enforcing such a policy, but I'm sure I can think of something;-) http://mail.computerdatasafe.com.au/mailman/listinfo/lssb ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by: Dice - The leading online job board for high-tech professionals.
