kudos to you for this product as well as the latest release!
we have been extensively evaluating multiple products (open source and closed)
for our server manufacturing company that does 5-10 million per year.

we are very impressed with sql-ledger and are in the final stretch of the
decision making process. unfortunately, we have spent alot of money on Great
Plains and nobody seems able or willing to use the system. it is to cumbersone
and complex and required a separate citrix installation in order to get some
remote access.

I am dealing with the sales reps for the final user acceptance testing and the
only thing that they are coming back with is if it is possible to use sql-
ledger for quoting purposes. we are unclear on this as it seems that all sales
orders end up on the books. perhaps it is our lack of accounting knowledge?

btw, sql-ledger runs without any problems on the latest version of freebsd
(4.6). in fact, it seemed easier to install on freebsd than it did on our
original redhat linux test system ;)

of course, being the last remaining portion of the original BSDi company, we're
a bit biased towards BSD!!

thanks!
