Archiving of invoices or other documents generated means storing them in an
good save format (space and change conscious, platform independent) that can
be handled for other uses, that can be tagged for searching, audited,
combined etc.. The ONLY format that comes to mind is PDF in relation to
SQL-Ledger.

It's not that you can print the document again, you what to see it, mail it,
print it etc. It's not a forest eating AS/400 system.

For storing scan's of received invoices or signed package list I think the
same goes.
