The menus can be fixed without javascript.  I have already
proposed the main menu be across the top, submenues at the side.

I've also suggested people visit the website at 
www.computerdatasafe.com.au to see how it might work.

What _I_ think js should be used for is checking invoice lines & such
and adding new lines. For example, at present when we enter a line
item on an invoice we click "update" to get space for another.

If js could be used to check line items as we go and create new
lines as required, I think the use of SL would be much improved.

For those who agree to use js.


Something those reluctant to use js might consider is creating a 
separate login on their *ix system. I do this as a matter of course
for some things including reading _most_ of my email. Using
ssh it is quite easy to switch, either from the command line or
through use of a program launcher.
