Thanks for the feedback guys, seems that I have convinced the client
that a Linux box is the better solution, I am happier now setting up SL,
time to move to the reporting side.  

Ho-Sheng I would be interested in taking a peek at the reports you had
produced for the earlier versions, it has been some years since I have
done any Perl code, your examples would be a great help if available.
