After an absence of nearly a week because my X Window would not start, I am back.
I think I finally have permissions sorted, but now have incorrect dataset error. I saw the note in the FAQ, but I am not sure how to correct it. I noticed that my users directory in 1.8.7 has only members.default file (although I have now created a members file as you have suggested). Wheras 1.8.4 has those plus acc.db and scott.conf. Can I not simply copy the latter files over to 1.8.7 users directory?
