I'd like interest what you have some time that control or/and repair
problems of Backup and More Reports.
Hi Steve,
(1) If you are using the enhanced version pulled from
github.com/ledger123 then you need to run 'sql/Pg-custom_tables.sql' on
your existing datasets. New datasets are always created with these new
db changes. I think this is what might be causing problem with your
backups. Kindly let me know if this is what you are asking.
(2) If you have correctly created/update your translation, then the
reports in 'More Reports' menu should work perfectly (even though some
strings will not be translated correctly.
Here are the instructions to create a new language (from sql-ledger.com)
* Add a country code in 'locale' folder.
* create the file LANGUAGE and enter the longform of the language i.e
German
* create a symlink to ../de/locales.pl
* run perl locales.pl -a
* edit the file 'all'
* rerun perl locales.pl
Kindly confirm you have followed all these steps to create your translation.
(3) You will also need to translate new text which is in my enhancements
only. For example set what the 'Vendor Activity' report does and
translate it with suitable text in your language in the 'all' file and
then run 'perl locales.pl'
Let me know if there is still any issue. If you still get any error
messages, include them in your reply.
